Here are a few more from my collection of Cabinet Cards. They were introduced in 1866 and 20 years later became the standard photograph size.
Cabinet cards (6 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches) were larger than cartes and pushed Cartes-de-Visites into the cheaper end of the market.
